Fork extensions for forklifts

Our fork extensions are offered in a closed version. The specified cross section refers to the existing fork.

Why should I equip myself with fork extensions? 

If you transport your goods with a forklift or high-lift truck, it may happen that individual goods are longer than the standard dimensions. Then you have two options: Either you buy a longer one  Forklift tine  or equip your forklift with an extension.

We recommend our fork extensions in a closed version. They are significantly cheaper than a new forklift fork, you save yourself the hassle of replacing the forks and are still well equipped for transporting excess length. The extensions can also be stored in the warehouse to save space when they are not needed. The fork extensions are simply pushed or placed onto the forklift fork and are therefore ready for use. The closed tine extensions have the advantage of a higher load capacity compared to the open variant.

Quality and use of fork extensions

The fork extension is made of a sturdy steel construction and therefore provides a secure support. The tine extensions are manufactured to the highest quality standards and are equipped with a safety bolt to prevent slipping. Commercial vehicles that use forks can be equipped with fork extensions. However, you must always pay attention to the permissible ratio of the original fork and fork extension. 

Calculating the maximum length of the fork extension

In order to consider the maximum length of a fork extension before purchasing, there is the 60% rule. The fork extensions must rest at least 60% on the tines of the forklift!

Formula: Maximum fork extension=length of existing forklift fork / 0.6.
